Boys U14 Black place 2nd in Brossard Tournament


The BU14 Black team coaches and parents are extremely proud of their boys who placed second at the Brossard Tournament in Quebec hosted July 31-August 3. The boys made it to the finals and gave Erin Mills a run for their money not allowing an easy defeat. Full game was played with great effort! Congratulations to all!

at the Brossard Tournament on July 31-August 1. Congratulations to the boys and their team officials!

U11 Girls Sun Devils win the COVI Tournament



U11 Girls Sun Devils win the COVI Tournament: The Girls outplayed every team and even lost a game but won in the final 2-1 over Pickering. It was a total team effort. Players endured the heat, injuries and the fatigue in playing 5 games in 2 days. It was just what the Doctor ordered. The coaches would like to acknowledge the GFC Academy and the Technical staff for the job they do. Our girls outperform and outclass our opponents and that has to do with the training they get.

COVI Tournament

The Glen Shields Futbol Club, together with the Kleinburg-Nobleton Soccer Club, and the Vaughan Soccer Club, hosts the COVI Soccer tournament, in May of each year. Divisions span most age groups, girls and boys, is very efficiently run, and has excellent quality soccer fields.
