Glen Shields FC is pleased to announce that we have secured a special guest speaker for the 30th Anniversary Celebration. Craig Forrest, one of the most successful Canadian soccer players of all time, will be joining us that evening for our celebrations. Craig has proudly represented our Canadian national team on a total of 56 occasions. He led our country in a world youth championship, two World Cup qualifying campaigns and Canada's pinnacle in the sport over the last decade, a Gold Cup Championship in 2000. He is presently co-host with Gerry Dobson on Soccer Central every Saturday morning on Sportsnet. We are very proud to welcome Craig to Glen Shields on February 19, as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary. Please share this information with your players and parents. Tickets are almost sold out. FIFA Womens World Cup 2015 Bid Decision Announced

With the 2012 Outdoor Season fast approaching the Glen Shields FC Competitive Rep Teams are training efficiently two to three times per week, with our professional licensed coaching staff. Each competitive rep team will finalize their final roster by mid-April including the 9 York Region Players signed by March 31st, 2012. If you wish to try-out for any of our teams, we recommend you contact either of our Technical Directors to make arrangements. Players will make the team on merit alone!
