In all playoff games a winner must be determined. In the event of a tie at the end of regulation play, there will be one 10 minute sudden death overtime period. The first team to score before the 10 minutes expires, wins the game.
If the game is still tied after the 10 minute overtime period, there will be a best of five penalty kick shootout. (The team with the most goals wins the game.)
If the game is still tied after the best of five penalty kick shootout, then a penalty kick sudden death will be the deciding factor. The first team to score after another team misses, wins the game.
For Divisions with Wild Cards, the wild card will be decided after the first series of playoff games on August 5th. The criterion will be :
1. Goal differential (Goals for minus goals against)
2. Least goals against
3. Most goals scored
If it is still tied, there will be a draw by the Convener/HL Director.
IMPORTANT
**All winning coaches must call Franca (905)-738-6744, or e-mail houseleague@glenshields.com with the score of the game as soon as possible after the game.
